"A Father's Legacy"

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE SPORT OR OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?  WHY WAS THIS YOUR FAVORITE?
We didn't have organized sports back then.  Hunting birds with my BB gun and fishing were my favorite things to do.  We fished the creek below Koosharem.  We would dig some worms put a piece of string and a hook in our pocket walk down to the creek then cut a willow tie the string and hook on it and go to fishing.  No expensive poles and reels for us.  When we got done we would wind the string up on the end of the willow then cut off that end and put it in our pocket until next time.
