Some would call Dad's childhood unusual but for a child in Koosharem it was pretty typical. He spent the early part of it playing in the fields and farms of Koosharem and then went to high school in Richfield. It was common for the kids to move to Richfield while they were in school because it was a long drive back then. There were 10 kids in his family so I'm sure they were never bored.
